OPERATIONS

At Millenium Paper, we take pride in our state-of-the-art operations that bring to life a diverse range of paper products. Our commitment to excellence is evident in every stage of the paper-making process. Explore the journey from raw materials to the finished product through our efficient and sustainable operations.

Pulp Making

The core of our business is the pulp making process, which turns leftover recycled paper into the raw material for our high-quality paper boards. Using white and grey pulp that comes from 100% imported, premium waste, we use technology that meets international standards to produce pulp that is remarkably bright, strong, and clean. We guarantee that our pulp is free of impurities and ink particles by using high-density pulpers, cleaners, screens, and bleaching systems in our state-of-the-art pulp mill.

Sheet Forming

Our products are made on seven cylinder mold formers to satisfy the needs of quality-conscious customers. The base board is made up of grey and white pulp that has been processed through four streets and is subjected to chemical treatments that are customized to meet various quality standards. The end product is a network of board sheets that blend together perfectly.

Pressing and Drying

The board enters this stage as it begins to take shape. Water is removed from the board using a double-felted process guided by a making felt. The sheet next goes through the dryer section, where any moisture left is removed by steam-heated cylinders. To ensure a smooth finish, our M.G. (Machine Glazed) enhances the glaze on the top side of the board.

Coating & Finishing

This is the next step in the adventure. For improved coating holdout, surface sizing is done on both sides of the board using premium starch. Our three-step coating section gives the top surface a sophisticated touch thanks to its top-notch pigments and binders. To further improve gloss and smoothness, a steel calender and brush rolls are used after.

Converting & Packing

We have state-of-the-art winding and cutting facilities to satisfy market demands. The sheet reams are carefully wrapped in HDPE and packed with high B.F. Kraft. Whether our products are in sheet or reel form, our packaging guarantees the safe delivery of our superior products.
